The Ritual of Care

Breathable Storage

Pearls thrive on natural moisture. Store them in a soft silk pouch, never in airtight plastic which can cause nacre to become brittle.

Chemical Shield

Acid is the enemy of nacre. Keep your gems away from hairspray, citrus-based perfumes, and chlorine found in swimming pools.

Gentle Cleansing

After wear, wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth. For deeper cleaning, use only lukewarm water and pH-neutral specialized jewelry soap.

Separate Sanctuary

Pearls are easily scratched by diamonds or metal edges. Give them their own dedicated space away from other high-hardness gems.

Restringing Ritual

Frequent wear involves the structural life of the internal thread. We recommend professional restringing at least every 10 years to maintain peak security.

Maintenance Schedule

Post-Wear

Gentle wipe with a soft cloth to remove skin oils.

Monthly

Inspect the clasp security and silk thread tension.

Decadal

Professional assessment of luster and structural restringing.
